This book continues Alex and Shriller's story since it was left on a cliffhanger in the previous book. I'm thrilled we didn't have to wait too long or I just might have gone a bit crazy over the ending. Shriller has now been gone 6 months which makes Jax go to California to bring him back. Alex can't seem to be around or talk to him at all with how much hatred she has for him after how he left. She's tried to move on and is with Chris and seems happier than ever. The thing is if she's truly happy then why do all her thoughts go to Shriller? He is struggling too with watching Chris touch her. Its making him hurt having to watch this between them. Will these two ever admit their true feelings to each other and give a relationship a shot or do they just keep going separate ways? 

I absolutely love this series. I don't think that I'll ever get enough of this family. You should definitely give this series a try. Its funny how one day you find a book by an author you've never heard of before but read the book anyway. The next thing you know she becomes one of your favorite authors. This is exactly how I feel about this author. I will never get enough of her writing and have loved every book I've read by her. I promise you wont be disappointed.
