Arianna has moved to Carson Falls after leaving her boyfriend who was very abusive. She needs a new start and to find some happiness. She is very scared and afraid to trust after what she's been through over the last several yrs. She meets River and his daughter Cady. He quickly sets his sights on her as being his Bird. She's very hesitant on getting involved with him. River doesn't let that stop him as he's very persistent and knows she'll come around in time. Does River get his way or does Arianna keep herself from getting closer?

This was a very emotional book to read. You can feel it all just through the words and how they are written. The characters in this book were very well developed and its impossible not to love them. Its hard to believe that this is Paisleigh's first full novel. The writing definitely doesn't indicate that. This book was initially hard to read due to the prologue but that beginning was needed for you to understand the story. Once I got past that the pages just couldn't turn fast enough. I absolutely loved this book and cant wait for the next one. I definitely recommend that you read this book too.

Author Bio:

Paisleigh Aumack was born in Red Bank, New Jersey. She grew up in a small barrier island town and has lived there all her life. She has always loved music, going as far as being a trained musician. Her tastes in music range all over the board, but currently, her heart belongs to country music.

Paisleigh is engaged to the love of her life and lives a fairly quiet, peaceful existence. When she isn’t working, she is writing or she is reading. Or singing at the top of her lungs. Paisleigh began writing a short time ago because she had a story to tell.
